January 8, 2020- JONESBORO, AR -- The Northeast Arkansas Children’s Advocacy Center (NEACAC), a nonprofit organization that provides services to child victims of abuse announces their inaugural Roaring Twenties Masquerade Ball, Saturday April 4, 2020, to kick off Child Abuse Prevention Month and raise critical funding to provide essential services for children impacted by abuse.

The Masquerade Ball themed “Roaring Twenties” to correspond with the year 2020, will be held at the Embassy Suites and Red Wolf Convention Center in Jonesboro, AR. Cocktail attire and masquerade masks are encouraged for this event to emphasize the efforts of taking the “mask” off of child abuse in Northeast Arkansas. The evening will consist of dinner, drinks, auction items, and dancing, featuring a live performance of jazz music and DJ entertainment from B.J. Humphries.

When asked what the NEACAC hopes to accomplish through funds raised from the Masquerade Ball, director Amanda Frankenberger answered, “We are striving to create a bright and healthy community, and it starts with our children. With the funds raised, the NEACAC will work tirelessly to provide enhanced services to each child victim of abuse and their families, while also providing extended outreach and child abuse prevention training to community leaders in our rural counties”. These funds will enable the NEACAC to meet the needs of a community whose child abuse population has risen 55% from 2018 to 2019. “For us to bring hope and healing to these children, we need help from the community,” said Frankenberger.

The Masquerade Ball includes an exquisite dinner with drinks, an impressive live and silent auction, and top notch entertainment. It is recommended to book a stay at the Embassy Suites and Red Wolf Convention Center, as exclusive rates are offered for attendees of the event. Don’t miss out on this exciting evening sponsored by NicePak. Sponsorships are available starting at $100 and individual tickets are $75. The Northeast Arkansas Children’s Advocacy Center is a safe place for kids who may have been sexually, physically, or emotionally abused, to tell their story. By bringing together all professionals under one roof, for a single visit, the Center avoids re-traumatizing children who are already suffering from pain, fear, or confusion. The NEACAC serves children, free of charge, within the counties of Clay, Craighead, Greene, Lawrence, Mississippi, Poinsett, and Randolph.
